See you this Saturday! 🙂
Last December, I took a giant leap of holiday faith and put myself out there for all of VegNews Magazine (and their million followers!) to see and critque.
They loved us!
After all of the blood, sweat, and tears [well, mostly sweat and tears from baking, almost tearing up from airport security jokingly telling me I couldn’t bring my cupcakes on board (not funny, by the way!), flying, and protecting my cupcakes like they were newborn babies], it was entirely worth the anxiety I went through. Haha.
It was a day I will never, ever forget. It’s now time to go full speed ahead, cupcake friends! *it’s raining vegan cupcakes* 😀
Check the VegNews Magazine blog post here.
Last Thanksgiving, I created a flavor which came about from my lip gloss.
Uh, say what?
Don’t worry, the lip gloss was not infused into the cupcake but the idea presented itself and, viola!, Lemon Pomegranate was born! Meet her beautiful self…
I had consumers guess before letting them know what they happily devoured.
“…tart…fruity…sweet…yeah, I like it…”
That’s just the answer(s) I was looking for. 🙂
So order a batch to taste what everyone’s been raving about today!
Welcome to the family, Lemon Pomegranate!
Ain’t that the truth! Thanks for visiting. 🙂
It’s been too long since I’ve made a post! I’ve been busy experimenting with vegan cakes and cookies as well as testing out different flavors for cupcakes. Yes yes, I know, what a semi-sweet life I live. 🙂
As I get situated, here’s a sneak peek at what’s kept me on cloud 9 this entire time:
“Live your life; have a cupcake bite!” – me
On November 6, 2011, a glorious occasion occurred:
The event was to help support local charities: Community Family Guidance Center, Su Casa – Ending Domestic Violence, and Ronald McDonald House. The turnout was amazing as patrons came until the end, money was raised, everyone enjoyed their sweet surroundings, and last, but hardly least, a friendly cupcake competition took place…
how do you like my new (cut-and-paste) sign? 😉
“hollah!” for being displayed right smack dab in the middle of the screen 🙂
“And 3rd Place for Professional: Most Unique Ingredient goes to…”
US! We did it! 😀
A HUGE thanks goes to my sister and Jen M. of Make It Pop, for I would have had a nervous breakdown trying to set my table. 🙂
Until the next cupcake event…
